I will admit, sometimes, I get so angry at people that mock God or put him down. I am reminded that God loves them too and Jesus died for them also. If they do choose to accept it, but it is not my duty to be angry. It is my duty to love, despite their bitterness. I am also reminded that God can take care of things and my anger in His defense is not the answer. Although I really have to remind myself of all of this at times. It’s hard not to think, “How dare they say that about God!” Although, yes, it is okay that I acknowledge the wrongness of it, I need to remember to put prayer in the place of my anger. For it would be better to see their hearts changed towards God, than my anger in His defense. Friend, in our love for God and others, may we remember to consistently show it at all times. Even to those, in which can make it more difficult. For they definitely need it.

Matthew 22:36-40 NIV
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ‘This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
