I’m just a traveler, heaven my destination

Traveling the world, working on my salvation

Life is an adventure, and I know that I’m not alone

I know He is with me, until someday He calls me home

I pray and I try to live by His word

To live by His truth and all that I have heard

At night I read the Bible, it makes me feel closer to Him

As I try to live as I’m called, battling against sin

Many ways I know I have been blessed

For it His love, that helps me be my best

Though here on earth there is joy to be found

My heart still seeks, where I am heaven bound

I’m just a traveler making the most of my days

Learning of His love, I sing of His praise

Until that day, when the trumpet does blow

I’ll be here, working on my faith to grow
