Some people seem to have cookie cutter lives. Their lives seem to be shaped and cut out perfectly. Their recipe for life appearing flawlessly. Then, although we might be happy for those people or even admire them for it, we start comparing. Although we forget that we don’t see what goes into making things so put together. I’m certain that things are sometimes messy for them as well. They just don’t show that part. They don’t show the imperfect. They show the perfectly put together stuff. Friend, we just need to encourage those people, because it’s probably not always as easy as it looks. Also, we need to realize that we are all imperfect. Our lives can be a little messy at times. We all need God. Friend, may we spend more time continuing to be the best version of ourselves, for His glory, and less time comparing ourselves to what we think we know. We’re all in this life together, trying to navigate it. Although, if we have God on this journey with us, even when things might be a little messy, things turn out so much better.

Galatians 6:4-5 NIV
Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.
