I’m sorry Lord, I’ve got a problem it’s true

So many things take me from You

Distractions, obsessions, I don’t always make You number one

Sometimes I’m caught up as what I see as fun

Forgetting that in You, I can find true joy it’s true

One that last forever, that can only come from You

It is all too easy, to be caught up in worldly things

Though I must make You, my number one of everything

Please forgive me Lord, I’m sorry I don’t always make You number one

Thank You still for loving me, despite what I have done

I know I must do better, when things try to take Your place

Thank You Lord for giving me so much love and grace
