On our couch in our family room, is a well-loved crochet blanket. Years ago, my great-grandmother carefully and lovingly wove it together. It was in my family home growing up for many years. Somewhere along the line, I inherited it. I noticed today that there was a decent sized hole in it. The yarn not as soft as it once was. So, I turned it around and I snuggled with the other side. It may be a little worn, but it still keeps me warm. It still is a soft place of comfort. Just like people, we may be a little worn out and not always perfectly put together. Though our life is still of value. We still have warmth and love to give. For God carefully and lovingly wove us together. He too knows our value, through all the stages of this life. Through the years times may change us in some ways. Yet, we are still valued. Like the blanket that is still very much treasured, we too are still treasured by God. Still very much loved.
