Listen to wise counsel. I think most of us have heard something like this being told to us at one point. I will be honest, there have been times in my life where I got myself in trouble because I didn’t listen to wisdom. There have been many times however that I did. At times even literally saving my life because of it. Some people are put in our lives to help guide us on this journey with wisdom. Whether for a short bit or long term. Also, the Bible has so much wisdom in it. The Bible is God-breathed and tells us instructions on how to live for a reason. For our good, to protect us, guide us, help us. For it was written in love. Friend, we as humans can be prideful at times. Wanting to do things the way we want to, for whatever the reason. Though listening to wise instruction and counsel, is the right way to live. I don’t know anyone who says they regret following wisdoms advice. We can call ourselves smart, but if we do not live a Godly life filled with wisdom, it won’t get us very far. May we listen to good instruction, read and follow His word and live a life with good judgement. God is always there to guide us with it.
