I’m guilty of judging situations or people at times. Or even making assumptions. Though I am not proud of it. Frequently when I do it, God keeps me humble and shows me a different perspective. I have also been on the receiving end of judgement too. It’s not a fun place to be. How quickly as humans we make judgements based off what we see or think that we know. I’m glad that God is my judge, as I know that He will be just and that He sees it all. He also knows things that we do not. It is important to apologize and to learn from these situations. Friend, may we be quick to show love, and slow to form opinions. May we ask God for wisdom and discretion, instead of basing things solely off of our own judgements or assumptions. For we are reminded several times in the Bible that judging is up to God, not us. Though we may have proof to form certain opinions under certain situations, may we give it to God. For He can make sure our judgements are sound and righteous. For a heart that loves as called, does not go about being critical towards another. May we love enough to not be self-righteous and cast unkind judgements. May we love God so much that we trust in His judgement and not our own.

Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.”

God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day.
