Sometimes it feels like I can’t keep up. It’s like I’m running on a hamster wheel and I’m going so fast, that I can’t stop. So, I keep running in circles as not to fall, waiting for it to slow down, so I can rest. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has felt like this from time to time. Life has a way of keeping us constantly moving, constantly busy. So many of us are waiting for things to slow down, so we can just breathe. The hardest thing about being so busy, is that we don’t always get to savor all the special moments with loved ones, and most importantly, God. I think that constant business can be used as a tool from the enemy. A way to keep us from fully spending time with one another, and especially God. Friend, I get it. Sometimes life is just that way. So many priorities and things that are required of us. Which can be very important stuff to do!  However, let’s just not get so caught up that we don’t take time for one another with love. So caught up, that we don’t take time to especially to be with God. For sometimes we need to slow down that wheel of business and just breathe. Take a break and soak it up with our favorite people and with God most of all. Life will frequently keep us busy in what we call priorities. May we remember what our most important priorities are though. God and loved ones. May we step off the wheel and let God guide us with all that we have in this life. For with Him, we can find our breath, savor moments, and not exhaust ourselves, when life tries to. For in this short bit of time we have here, may we take the time with loved ones, and especially take the time with God.
