If you have ever watched a game of American football, it can be pretty cool. The way that the defense protects their offense in working at making a touchdown. I recently watched a video of a player that dropped the football, picked it back up and kept running forward to make a touchdown. Though his skill was impressive, it was also his defensive players that protected him, allowing him to make that touchdown. Though in football the players may not always be successful, when they are, it is typically because the offense and the defense worked great together. It got me thinking friend, about how God is our defender. How sometimes we drop the ball. However, when we get up and start running forward to the prize, He is there defending us. He is there protecting us from the enemy and helping us make a touchdown toward our goal. The best thing is, is when we have God on our team, we are always successful. For in Him and His love for us, we will have victory.

Romans 8:31 NIV
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
