Walking with God

When we want our house to look nice, we tend to it. We keep things cleaned and provide maintenance as needed. When we want our cars to run, we do frequent oil changes, keep them filled with gas and fix things as they are needed. When we want to stay well, we eat right, rest, exercise, go to the doctors when it is needed. Yet, as we tend to these things that keep us getting through in life, are we doing the most important thing? Are we taking care of our minds, our hearts, our souls? For the best way to do that is by reading scripture, spending time with God, praying, walking with Him always and going to Him for anything and everything. It is through a relationship with God where we can best tend to our hearts, our minds, our soul. In Him there is peace to be found, hope that always exist, direction, comfort, and a love beyond measure. So, as we take care of all the many things in our lives, may we not forget the most important; our hearts, our minds and our souls. In order to do so, we must remember to walk with our Creator, God.
