Recently there was a horrible hurricane that came in and caused so much pain and disaster. Some lost their lives, loved one’s lives, some people are still missing. Animals are missing or lost their lives. Many lost their homes and their way of life has been uprooted and so much more devastation. Many are trying to navigate the aftermath. I can only imagine what they are going through and I am saddened for them. It is heartbreaking to hear about and see images of this devastating storm. Though there is one beautiful thing about it. Many people stepped in to help one another in love. Neighbors and strangers alike both coming together to get through this awful ordeal. Exemplifying what it means to love one another, just as we are called. We must be there for one another in any way that we are able. Even if all we can offer is prayer; prayer is powerful! It is amazing what God can do when we all come together to help each other in any way that we can. As we continue to pray for those affected, I hope that we always help one another in the storms of life. For we truly do need each other. God knew we would, just as we especially need Him.

Lord,
We pray that you can be with those affected by Hurricane Helene. Please bring healing to their lives and their loved one’s lives. Please bring them Your peace as you remind them, You’re in control. Please help the lost to be found, please be with the grieving hearts and those in need. Please help them to rebuild and come back stronger from all this hurt and pain that this horrible storm has caused. Please help them in any way that they need it. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen
