Remember when we were kids and we’d get those awful growing pains? Maybe you didn’t have them, you’re lucky if you didn’t. How about that stage of growing up when you weren’t quite a kid and were far from a grown up. Those years are tough. Trying to navigate being older, with yet still so much to learn. Then when we become adults, the years where we’d thought we’d know it all and have it all figured out. Only to realize we were still learning, still growing, even then. Life seems to teach us something every day. There are even times where as we grow it hurts. We learn about things within ourselves that we need to better, we see more about the world and its brokenness, we learn things on our journey in life and through experiences. Though through all of the chapters in life, we grow in them in one way or another. In this growth, we are given the opportunity to grow and deepen our faith in God. Though if we choose not to journey with Him, things will always prove more difficult. Friend, we’re all growing, no matter our age. May our growth be heavenward towards God and not towards the world. For life is a journey always best traveled with God.
