Keep it humble friends. So often we read about or watch videos of people showing themselves being generous. Their generosity is admirable. However, it often begs the question as to whether or not these individuals are doing it for attention and out of vanity. If we are to help one another we need to do it respectfully to the person we are helping and quietly as not to boast. It always seems so ingenuine when people do a good deed and tell everyone about it. God has called us to help one another out of love, not for vain conceit. May we keep our love loud, but our generosity silent. For love is doing good, even when no one is looking. Love is helping one another out of care for them, not conceit. Love is reaching out and being the hands and feet of God. Just as God so tenderly looks out for us, may we do the same for one another in genuine love.

Matthew 6:1-4 NIV
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
