I imagine God sitting beside me

Listening to all things I had to say

As He tells me His advice

And that all will be okay

As He sits beside me He answers

All the questions in my heart

As His peace comes over me

He reminds me we’re never far apart

That He is always with me

He will guide me along

That He will always be

My shoulder to lean on

Though I do not see God

I feel Him as though He’s here

He speaks to me in His word

And the loving way He cares

I see His love in all

That He does for me

For though I see Him not

There are other ways I see

I see Him in the beauty He creates

The peace in nature too

I see Him in His blessings

Both the old and the new

Though I cannot fully see

My Saviors face

I see Him every where

At every single place

For His love and guidance

Walks me with me every day

For I can feel His presence

In my heart to stay
