I would love to say that I know the Bible word for word, scripture for scripture verse and that I understand it all completely. However, I do not. I am learning and I am quite sure that I will be for the rest of my life. The Bible is complex and that’s just another great thing about it. We can always have the opportunity to spend time with God and learn more about Him. We should always be growing in our knowledge of His word and living it out in our faith walk with Him. Friend, please don’t be discouraged when reading His word or compare yourself with what others seem to know. We are all on our own walk with Him and if we ask God to give us understanding of His word, He will. Whether natural or through someone we can trust. For the best thing we can do with the Bible is just keep reading it, knowing it as His word and applying it to our daily lives. For the greatest and most life- changing book that we will ever read is God’s word.
