We were meant for something so much more than this world can offer. That is why so often we feel a longing in our heart for more. Although often, we try to fill this longing with material possessions, money, fame, status, people. Although the only one that can fulfill the longing we so eagerly seek, is God. Those things in which we try to put, where God should be, may be nice for a while. Although we will always long for more, if we don’t have God. The only way to have a truly filled heart and live the most fulfilling life possible, is to have God at the center of it. This world offers many things with the promise of true joy. Although true, complete, joy, can only be found in God. May we live our live with our hearts centered on Him. May we not try to put everything, where He should be. Only He can fill the void within us. In Him, we can be truly fulfilled; for it is Him, which our hearts do seek. We were meant to be with Him always, both now, and for eternity.
