You’re too much, you’re not enough. You’re too this, you’re too that. As humans these words have entered most of our minds at one point or another. Sometimes the criticism may have come from someone, other times, maybe we were the ones being critical on ourselves. We will not measure up all the time to everyone’s expectations of who they think that we should be. We also have to remember to be kind to ourselves. For though we may not be liked by everyone, all the time; that doesn’t change our worth in God’s eyes. We also need to remember that we are not perfect, and when we make mistakes to grow from them, instead of dwelling in them. We should especially put our focus on living for Him, and not the world. As a society, we need to remember our worth in who God says that we are. Which is loved and to die for. Friend, there will always be critics. Though the opinion that matters, is God’s. May we live for Him and see our worth as He does. For we are cherished, designed with a purpose, and so very loved.
