The other night my youngest son went somewhere for a sleepover. He ended up calling me to come get him. When I saw that he was calling, I couldn’t get to my phone fast enough. My son was fine, he just decided that he wanted to come home. I imagine God is like that with us. That He is always ready to answer anytime we call Him and He is always ready to be there for us. For He wants to take us home, to be with Him someday. Friend, like a child calls on their parents to be there for them, we can call on God to be there for us. We can trust that no matter the reason, He is always there ready to care for us. May we always remember that we have God, that we can always count on. God, who wants to be with us both now and forever. May we keep Him with us, always.
