The world is changing, from the world that I used to know. Things that used to be unacceptable or inappropriate, are becoming acceptable and even glorified. Though not by everybody. When I was a kid I needed less supervision, for the world was less of a scary place. This world looks different from the one in which I grew up from. Even the food has changed and not for the better. For they are much less healthy. Education at the public level, looks different too. It does not focus on just academics, but things that should not be learned in school. People used to stand up in reverence for our flag, our soldiers and our freedom. Now there are those that only show disrespect. Children used to be children. Now they grow up too fast; from the way they dress, to the things they know, the things they watch and listen to. Most importantly, the Bible used to be cherished and God was better loved. We live in an immoral world, more than ever before. Though there are still many good people in the world and those in which do love God, I can see the changes in it. I worry sometimes for the future and what it will be. For it is not just my future, but my children’s and someday, their children… Then, I am reminded that God holds the future. That He is and will always get the last say. That He will always look out for our good, even when the world is not always being good. That He will someday set all things right again. That we may just be in the end times, but God, He will have victory over all of this corruption and sin. In the meantime, it is my duty to do and be my best for His glory and encourage my husband to be, and to raise our children to be their best for His glory too. Especially, I need to pray; we all do. To pray for this world, to pray for all people and that they’ll find God and their salvation in Jesus Christ. That we will remember to hang tight to God, even when we are discouraged. That we will keep sharing the good news and His hope. This world is changing, but God is not. He loves us, He cares for us, He looks out for us, just as He always has. So, though the world may change, we do not have to with it. May we hang tight to our faith, as we navigate this world and may we hold close to His promises. We may be at the end of times, but remember, God holds the victory!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
John 16:33 NIV
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
1 Timothy 2:3-4 NIV
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Romans 10:1 NIV
Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.
Revelation 21:1 NIV
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
