When I think back to my youth, I had seen things from a different perspective, than I see them now. It is true that with age, generally speaking, we become wiser. We see things more clearly. We view them from a bigger picture standpoint and less centered on ourselves. We see things from not just an emotional view, but a logical one too. Often those of us as believers, find our faith deepened. We realize the fleetingness of time more. This changes our perspective exponentially. We seem to want to live it better and more for God and less for ourselves. I know that even as I am getting closer to forty, I am striving harder than ever before to be the woman that God has designed for me to be. For I know now that life is temporary here, goes by quickly and we know not how long we have before our time here is up. I am no longer living simply for this world and what it can offer me; I am living with eternity in mind. For when I leave this world, I want the hope of heaven in my heart. As I am sure you are too my friend. May we grow wiser every day, may we walk deeper with God in our faith, and most of all, may we live with eternity in mind. For in this temporary life, may we live with a forever God.
