“Mom, can you pray for me?” My youngest son asked me this the other day, as he was scared about something. It makes my heart happy to know that when my son is afraid, his first thought is to go to God. It is a great reminder that anytime we feel fear, we must go to God in prayer. For He can give us peace and there is always comfort in talking to the Lord. Friend, when we are afraid, are we going to God or are we letting that fear consume us? My son ended up being just fine, for he prayed and God comforted him. When fear sets in, instead of dwelling on it, may we go to God who can handle it.
