Video games, basketball and playing outside with my children. Dinner with our favorite homemade pizza. Movie night and time together, with my husband. Playing ball with my dog, laughing at my animal’s silliness and snuggling with them. These may appear as small things. However, to my family and I; they are anything but. These moments consist of quality time, laughing together and making memories. These seemingly small things adding up to be the things we love the most. Big vacations are nice; but it is even in the small every day moments, that add up to being a beautiful time spent. God didn’t say we need grandiose vacations or to find our joy in loved ones by the big things we do. It is loving them, in all the moments. Spending time enjoying the loved ones He gives us, joyfully laughing together, and making memories with our favorite people. Friend, may we enjoy even the everyday little things, with our loved ones. For they are truly blessings. May we stop stressing about not always doing big stuff with our families and realize we already do. What a blessing it is to do so.
