My husband and I recently watched a faith-based documentary. Many people were put to death for their faith. For defending the Bible and striving to live out His word. We live in a society that has a tendency where many bend, to appease the majority. They change His word, to fit their desires. They live out lives contradictory to what the Bible says, to make everyone feel contented. The Bible is too important to be manipulated. Too important not to share its truth. Too important as our greatest tool that connects us closer to Him. People have been put on trial, abused and murdered in defense for it. To change or manipulate its words or put little importance on it; is a crime against God and ourselves. Friend, how much emphasis do you put on the Bible? Do you know His word, do you study it, defend it? For many have forgotten the words in which are written and base their faith on the word of man or the worlds interpretation. I encourage us all, daily, to read our Bibles. To get to truly know His word. In doing so, His truth can be better understood, our relationship with Him will increase, we can better share His word, and grow in our faith.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Matthew 4:4 NIV
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
Joshua 1:8 NIV
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Hebrews 4:12 NIV
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Psalm 19:7-11 NIV
The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
