Sometimes God gives us a gift and even though we may use it, we wonder how much of a difference we’re making for His glory with it. I post devotionals daily, with not a lot of followers. Admittedly, sometimes it makes me feel a little discouraged. Not because I want the attention or the followers for myself, I don’t, but simply because I want to reach more people for His glory. Though I am always reminded, if only for one person I can help in their faith walk, it’s worth posting every day. To be honest, writing these devotionals is good for my faith walk too. It encourages me to reflect and spend time with God daily.
Friend, I do not know what your gift is, but every gift can be used for His glory. Whether we help a bunch of people, or just one person with our gifts; it is always worth it and it all matters! Using our gifts for His glory also keeps us growing in our faith too! So whatever gift it is you are given, wherever God has called you, keep at it! I promise you if you are doing it for God’s glory, you are making a difference in helping others grow in their faith. For when we use our gifts for Him, it is there where faith can grow and His hope can be shared. For there is no talent wasted, when using it for God’s glory!

Romans 12:3-8 NIV
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
1 Peter 4:10-11
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
