I wait upon the Lord

Trusting in His plan

That He knows what’s better

For He’s the great I am

He knitted me together

For with Him I am blessed

I will trust in Him

Who surely loves me best

I will Trust in God

And His plan for me

Trusting all the while

Even when I cannot see

That His plans are bigger

That He has it all figured out

I will find my peace in Him

As He casts out my doubt

I will listen to the Holy Spirit

That comes from deep inside

That still small voice I can hear

As I let Him be my guide

Though I know not everything

I know not always the plan

I will let His voice guide me

As though He takes me by the hand

For this life can be uncertain

I have help along the way

By our loving Father

 Who walks with me everyday

For His love is certain,

as I put my hope in Him

The author of salvation

His Son saved me from my sin

There is no love greater,

No hope that can compare

To the Love of our Savior

Who goes with us everywhere

I will wait and listen

Until He calls me home

As I wait upon the Savior

I know I walk not alone

For He Has always been there

He will always continue to be

How blessed to be loved by Him

Who loves us eternally
