Did you pray about it?

“Did you pray about it? “This is a question my husband and I will ask each other when we are not sure what to do, in need of guidance, when we feel overwhelmed or really anything that requires prayer. Often when this question gets asked, it is because one of us needs the reminder. Those five words seem to have power behind them. For when it is said, we are reminded to pray and through prayer is where we find our help. It is easy to get caught up in whatever we are needing help with at times; then stopping and praying. Though when we stop and pray, things are always better. For a prayer is a conversation with God and through prayer is where our answers are, our peace lays and our hope is renewed. So, friend, whatever it is that is on your heart, I ask you; “Did you pray about it?”
