God owes us nothing. Yet, He has given us everything. We live in a society where many people think that they deserve everything good in life. Completely missing the fact that everything good that we have, are blessings from God’s grace and His love. We live in an entitled society. Always wanting more, always seeking more. Instead of seeking God more and praising Him more. No amount of things, wealth, status, can ever measure up to the biggest gift God has already given us; salvation. Everything else we have are bonuses. In a disconnected, discontented culture; may we remember how blessed that we already are. If we find ourselves wanting more, may we stop and realize everything in which we’ve already been given. In gratitude and remembrance of what God has done for us and what He does every day for us; it is there where we can find joy. It is there we stop and pause and realize that God never owed us anything, but has given us everything. He has given us life here and eternal life in Heaven someday, if we so ask. Friend, for everything good about life and in life, comes from the one in which gave us life.
