I think of Eden, the beauty that must have been
When all was perfect, in the absence of sin
Though God gives us glimpses, in His grace
Of what is to come when we leave this place
For those who believe, reminding us He still is here
In all things, even the beauty which He shares
Like the sunshine as it greets us when we wake
Its warmth upon us, in which it makes
The stars that come out at night
As the stars twinkle, what is Heaven like
The way the birds sing, their beautiful melody
It is like a song from heaven and nothing is off key
Oh, to watch the flowers bloom, each in their own way
Or even as the critters play
What a gift it is to truly see
The wonder of the tallest trees
The smell of fresh air
A gentle reminder of Gods love and care
When we feel overwhelmed it is there where we should go
Where we can catch our breath and our peace can grow
I will take in all the beauty, that God does provide
Until we make it, to the other side
For I miss a place, I have never been
Though someday we will see it, in the absence of sin

Psalm 19:1-4 NIV
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
