Years ago, they played “Jesus loves me” at my grandmother’s funeral. My grandma was a quiet and kind woman. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She had this innocence about her. She had many great qualities, although, it was her childlike faith and her uncanny ability to believe in God so naturally. It was in her nature and she nurtured it beautifully. This was the reason they played this song after she had passed. In memory of her childlike faith. What a beautiful sentiment to be remembered by. For that is the very type of faith we all should have as believers.
We live in a world that can make us question everything. Between false information and the world in which we simply live. Though it is okay to ask questions and learn; it is when our questions turn to questioning our faith. Though we may not understand everything, we must not let it stop up from our belief. The world is complex and can so easily try to distort or distract us from our faith and God’s truth. The Bible encourages us to have childlike faith for a reason. For like children, though we may not fully understand, we fully believe, fully trust, fully hope, fully love; because of our faith in who we know God is and that His word is truth. Friend, as the world can make us have so many questions, may our answer always simply be; faith. May we choose to believe, despite not having all the answers. For someday we will and we will be glad that we kept the faith.
I look forward to seeing my grandma someday, as well as so many others who kept the faith. Will you keep the faith too my friend?

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
