I was not looking my best the other day and my husband told me, in the most genuine way; that I looked beautiful. Though I may not have looked my best, it was a lovely compliment to receive. My youngest son told me today that he liked my new shirt and that I looked nice. It was sweet of him to say. It was also kind and I appreciated the sentiment. Often times in the busyness of life, we get caught up in our day to day; that we don’t always take the time to build each other up. Honestly, we all could use a compliment or words of affirmation every so often. May we take the time to find something kind to say to each other. 

My husband and my sons compliment brought me a smile and helped build me up. May we always take the time, to just say something kind. It is incredible how God can use us to build each other up.  May we take the opportunity to do so.
