Go where He leads

I have been feeling God put it in my heart to reach out to people more. Admittedly, I tend to be better at communicating through my writing, than in person. At least until I get to know someone. I can be reserved and shy at times. So, reaching out to a stranger, is not exactly in my comfort zone. However, there have been certain instances where I have felt God putting it on my heart to talk to people; that I would normally just leave with a polite smile. I am grateful that He has been doing this. For I have had some great conversations, with wonderful people and I have been challenged to step outside of my comfort zone. I am not entirely sure what God’s plans are for me in this way. However, I have been enjoying meeting new people and making new friendships. Sometimes God puts things in our hearts and though we know not always why, it is always best to listen.

I believe that stepping outside of my comfort zone has allowed for me to better serve God. To better connect with people and to better share my faith.  Friend, whatever God has been putting on your heart, please listen to it. Maybe it will be outside of your comfort zone, but He has a plan for His glory and your good. We need but to faithfully follow, where He faithfully leads.
