This world has a tendency to try to normalize things that go against God. It so easily tries to convince people that in order to be kind, they have to accept everything; including those actions that go against His word. Though maybe not the most popular opinion, we can still be kind; but boldly disagree. It is not necessary to bend to the world’s worldliness, to be a good and loving person. In fact, it is the contrary. To be good is not to follow the pattern of this world, but to follow God’s word and instruction. To love people, is to lovingly instruct them in the truth between what is truly right and wrong. For it is better to stand by God’s word and to live out our faith, than bending what is right, to appease the world.
I have a handful of people in my life, that I truly care about. Though they live a way in which they believe to be loving; although, goes completely against God’s word. Many of these people believe that they are truly doing the right thing. Many of these people believe in God. However, are ill-informed on what His word says. This world has convinced so many that we have to accept all actions, in order to love. However, to love God, is to love His word and live it out in action. If we are to truly love people, should we not love them enough to educate them on what is right in the eyes of the Lord? Just as parents instruct their children, whom they love tremendously? Just as God instructs us, His children. We live in a society that is accepting to sin and normalizes it, with the excuse that it is love. Though love is loving enough to try to bring others to God and His truth. Though we can still be respectful and kind; that does not mean that we should sit idly by and accept what goes against God.
We must love all people, though this does not mean to love all actions. May we truly love others, by standing firm in our faith. May we most importantly love God and stand firm in His word. Love is not the action of loving all choices made by a person, but loving them enough to guide them towards the truth in God’s word. Loving them enough to pray for them, to educate them, to set an example. Love is always kind, though it is not always in agreeance. Love, cares enough to witness to those living worldly lives, what real love is. The real love that can come from living a godly life. Real love in a relationship with the Lord. Real love that lasts long after this life is over and one that can fulfill all that our souls are longing for. May we be kind, but honest. May we love God, even in a world that is losing sight on what that means. May we love others enough to speak truth into them, in the hopes that they will follow His will for their lives. For the love that we as humans seek and try to fill with worldly things; can only be filled with God’s love.

Jude 1:22-23 NIV
Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear- hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
James 1:27 NIV
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James 1:15 NIV
Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Ephesians 4:15
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV
Love it patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
