My youngest and I were watching a video of these two volleyball teams going up against each other.  The teams were both doing incredibly good. So much so, the players from both sides were beginning to tire out. For they continuously had each other’s back. Giving their all, to not let the ball drop. Back and forth so many times, we wondered when the game would end and what team would eventually lose. After some time had passed, a team took the victory. Though it was an incredible example, from both sides; of commitment and team work.

As I watched this game, I had a comforting thought. Life is like that game. We are doing our best and putting out our best efforts. However, we tire out and we need back up at times. We need someone to stand around us, helping us not to drop the ball. That someone is God. He is always there for us. Helping us not to drop the ball. To encourage us, as he commits to always helping us. Though we may get tired in life and we may not always feel like a winner; with God, we are always a winner. For at the end of the game of life, if we have Him on our side; we win. For there is always victory in God.
