God is good. For many years I had dreamed of being an author. Since I was a teenager, I have had a passion for writing. Though I did not know if it could be a possibility for me. For many years I worked as a cosmetologist, though it was writing that I really wanted to do. Fast forward many years later and I felt the calling to be a writer for God’s glory even stronger! I also felt the Lord calling me home as a homemaker with my family. Fast forward a couple years later and my first book has been published. Though it took time to get to this point and I have many more books I want to publish; it happed on His time. I would not have it any other way. God gives us gifts and puts passions for them in our hearts. We must strive to use our gifts that He gives us, for His glory. That is why we feel so passionate about our gifts. That is how we can best serve Him. Even if it takes time to do things exactly as we’d hope or even if looks different than we expected. I feel that I am even more living my life with purpose, when I am doing what God has called me to do, with the gifts that He has given me. There is not one person in the whole world, who has not been gifted, a gift of some sort. The question is are we using it? More importantly, are we using it for His glory? Friend, think of what your passionate about, what your gifted with, and go share it with the world! Share it for His glory! For when we use the gifts that God has given us, He will see it through. In that, we are further bringing Him glory.

Romans 12:6-8 NIV
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
1 Peter 4:10 NIV
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
