Before my prayer was spoken, before I could form what to pray

He heard my heart and what it wanted to say

He met my need, though I knew not all that was involved

He knew how to fix, the brokenness that need solved

Before my words could form, He already was there

Showing His tender, love and care

For there is not anything He does not know or see

He watches over all, you and me

When our words seem far away, as we try to navigate

His nurturing love, does not procrastinate

He is with us every step of the way

He hears, what our hearts do pray

Such a blessing to be loved by God, who knows it all

Who listens to our hearts call
