The sweet power of prayer

“I’ll pray for you.” A frequented shared sentiment in my life lately. As loved ones, I hold dear to my heart, offer the only thing that they can. The best thing that they truly can give. Their faith in God and His healing power, as they go to Him in prayer for me. For when this encouraging and kind sentiment of prayer is offered; I know I am covered by not just their love, but His love, who holds me and has the power to heal in only ways that He can.

As I have been dealing with some health problems lately,  it is in their, “I’ll pray for you;” in which I am comforted and reminded of both love and the power of prayer. Friend, may we not ever stop praying for one another. For it is the greatest gift we can offer each other. For God is the one in whom can heal, all the parts of us that need mending.

Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

John 14:13-14 NIV

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
