When I was a kid, I never understood how adults found so much joy in watching the children have fun. Now that I am older, I get it. When I watch my children enjoying themselves, my heart feels full and I am just as much joyful as they are. My oldest recently attended a special event and I was so excited for him to have such a cool experience. My youngest also recently got to have a lot of fun at a really neat place and as I watched him, I could not stop smiling. We get to a point in our life, that even as we still enjoy our own adventures; there’s something about watching our children enjoy theirs. There is a different type of joy attached to it. I imagine God looking down on us, His children, and being delighted to see us filled with joy and enjoying the blessings that He gives us.  Life is not always easy, but there are so many beautiful things to be felt. Like watching our children take in all the wonderful experiences that God has bestowed to them. God is truly gracious and I see it most when I look at my children with smiles on their faces and enjoying all the wonderful things that this life has to offer.
