I am okay with not being the smartest, the richest, the most popular. I just want to be wise in my faith; thus, shaping my actions in the choices I make, my attitude toward others and my understanding of His word. For those are the things in which matter, as those are the ones that last. Though there is nothing wrong with intelligence, riches and popularity if we use them to serve the Lord; I know that, that is not what we should prioritize. What should matter most is how we live our lives for Him, and how we prioritize and love Him. How we treat others, with kindness and with love. The wisdom we get from reading His word and applying it to our daily lives. I know of many intelligent people, that are foolish and lack wisdom. I know of many wealthy people that are rich with resources and poor in spirit. There are many popular people, even ones that are religious, that think fame can complete them. Only to be empty for not having God truly a part of their lives. So, I do not need to be the smartest, the richest or the most popular to feel like I matter; for I have God. Being wise in my faith can not only help me navigate this life here, but give me hope for my forever with Him someday.
