My husband and I have been preparing to get a project done in our house. Though we have a lot of goals to accomplish with it, we started toward those goals recently. It feels good to take steps toward our end result. Especially with working on it together. We know that between finances and time, it will take some time toward completion; but we know that every step gets us closer to our end result. Just like in anything, we have to take steps toward our goals. Sometimes we get there quick and other times, it may take time. Walking with God can feel like that at times. Our end goal should be Heaven, to be with God someday. We must work on our relationship with Him though every day in order to be successful. Sometimes it may feel like its harder to reach that goal, and other times it is easier. Though every day we must work on that end result. For that is the most important goal we can ever accomplish. Also, when we have loved ones around us working on that same goal with us, it makes things much easier. Friend, it feels so great to accomplish our goals! However, may we remember our ultimate goal; to be with the good Lord someday. For no step is as important as the one that leads us closer to Him.
