Give a smile

There is a nice lady that frequently works as a cashier at one of our shopping centers. She is always smiling and talking about how blessed she is. I can tell she is a woman of faith by her attitude and the words that she uses. I love going to her lane, just so she can be our cashier. I will be honest; I am not a shopper. I do not enjoy going into stores with crowds of people and trying to find what I need. I always get stressed and overwhelmed. I love people, though I am not a crowd person. So, when I leave seeing her smile, it makes the experience that I had; seem less stressful, less overwhelming and she leaves me with a smile. Reminding me that I am blessed. These are the sort of people in the world, that help make it better. With their smiles, their kindness and their joy in life. Friend, it is hard to stay in a state of gratitude sometimes; but it is people like this woman that remind me, to find something to smile about. For God has truly blessed us all in ways more than we probably will ever fully realize. May we go out and share our smile and joy with others; for a smile is a gift, that we should all so generously give. I personally know, that when someone offers kindness and a friendly smile to me; it helps bring my heart a little more joy. We all need that.
