Get some fresh air

Yesterday afternoon I was a little tired and grouchy. Not quite myself. So while my husband was at work, my boys and I decided to go for a long walk with our dog. We put on our outdoor gear and headed outside. Almost immediately, I could feel a sense of joy come over me. So we just kept walking forward; even as the brisk wind touched our nose. It was like a weight being lifted. When we got home, my mood was better and I could tell that we all needed that fresh air.

Sometimes friends, we just need a breath of fresh air, out in nature with our loved ones. Whether we’re feeling grouchy, overwhelmed or just want a little extra joy our way; may we go outside and enjoy God’s nature.

Psalms 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
