I love looking at the birds. All their beauty and distinct features. I also have always found it fascinating how a very small, fragile, bird could withstand even the bitter cold. God is so detailed on His design of everything, including us. He has a purpose for everything and designs us in a way that can fulfill that purpose; if we just stay connected to Him.
We as humans have a hard time giving up control and allowing Him to be God. We don’t trust His Design or His plans at times. What if that very bird never wanted to fly from its nest because all it saw was how cold it was? Instead of trusting that if God made it a winter bird, He also designed it to be able to withstand the bitter cold. Sometimes we go through things in life and instead of spreading our wings and trusting God, we hide back in our safety nest of control.
God has a purpose and plan for everything; even the small bird outside our window on a cold winter day. I assure you, even in our cold, He has already made it possible for us to withstand it. Though not alone or in our own control; but with His and with Him walking beside us.
Friend, if you are looking at what is outside of you and your control, go to God. Trust Him with whatever you’re going through; He will give you the wings to soar and the strength to endure. Even the Bible reminds us, that if God takes care of the birds, surely, He will care for us too. For we are loved even more than the beautiful birds by God. In all of the elements of this life, we must remember we are equipped through God who has it all worked out.
