Love on display

In my mailbox, all from different states; we have been receiving different types of beautifully stitched angels, with thoughtful cards. We do not know who is sending them; just that my husband and I are being thought of and prayed for. These angels are sitting on display on a couple shelves in our living room, and the beautiful cards on our piano; as reminders of both God’s love and the thoughtfulness, love and prayers from even strangers.

Though we know not who the sender is of all these lovely angels; we can truly say that we appreciate all the love and support.

Friend, I have witnessed so much care from people recently. Some I know well, some I know just a little, some I know not at all. Yet, they have prayed for myself and my family. They have reached out with kindness and care. Their actions have been such beautiful examples of being there for one another and reaching out and loving others well. I am truly humbled and grateful. My husband and I both are.

May we all love, as He so loves us. May we journey together, as we lift up one another! Speaking from experience, it does matter and it does help. For when we can take the time to shower others with a godly love; it is that sort of love that brings joy to others, helps heal the hurt, helps change the world, and puts a godly love on full display.
