People will always have their opinions and will frequently make them known. We live in a world that places a lot of value on formed opinions and comparisons on who they think we should be. Though we must not let others put us down through their lens of cruelty. For what we should care about is God’s thoughts to who we are, basing it off His word; not the thoughtlessness of another’s opinion.
Friend, people will establish their own thoughts about you at times, that are distorted and incorrect. We could fight them trying to validate ourselves, but to no avail. The best thing we can do in these situations is politely know our truth, say it when it is called for and kindly walk away. They opinion is not our problem. Their judgement on others, rests with God who will judge their act.
Keep your head up my friend, keep being the person that God has called you to be. He is just and will sort it all out, let Him. Pray for those who say bad about you and move forward in the path in which you are called. Do not let their opinion try to define the wonderful person that you are. Do not let their meanness, make you unkind. Stay kind and know that God’s opinion is what matters; so, pay no mind to someone being unkind.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Luke 6:27-28 NIV
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
2 Corinthians 5:9-11
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience.
