The snow is falling outside our window, there is a cool breeze making the pine trees sway and the roads are covered with white. Though it is cold and we know not how much snow will fall; it is beautiful as it dances, as it falls from the sky. Though it is much easier to enjoy right now in the comfort and warmth of my favorite chair in my warm blanket. Once the winter storm passes, we will have the opportunity to be outside in it and enjoying its beauty, if we so choose. It is much easier to enjoy the cold of the snow when we find the beauty in it. Friend, we can always find reasons to complain about the things we weather. Sometimes, we just need to stop and find the beauty in the season. For after the snow calms, there are snowman, sledding, and many activities to do in the snow. Or simply looking at the white painted trees and ground that God made beautifully. When spring comes, this same snow will help nurture the plants and flowers that will grow and bloom in the spring. Look around friend outside the window of your life, there is beauty right where you are at to be found. For through the seasons of life stay focused on God and His beauty around us, for He has given us beauty to be found; until the next season, where something else will bloom beautifully.
