I do not need the approval of the world Lord; I just seek your approval. Although sometimes it almost feels innate to want the worlds approval, I am quickly reminded that I just need to seek yours. For I will never measure up to what everyone wants and sometimes quite frankly that isn’t the kind of approval that I want. I know that if I do what is right by you Lord, everything falls in place because I am following you, and not this world. We live in a time where many sacrifice their morals, their boundaries, themselves; just seeking the approval of others in some form. To some people I may be considered a good person, to others I may be something different. I cannot make people feel certain ways about me, but I am living my life for you Lord, and that brings me true joy. For you search my heart and you know it well without me having to overexplain or prove myself; I am simply me being my best and you love me as I am. So, the world can form its opinion, but I only accept yours. I pray I am worthy, for you Lord, are my God and I am eternally grateful for your love. For when my heart stays fixated on you, it is there where I find my peace, even amongst my adversaries.
