I am sorry that I doubt you Lord, and in worry that I obsess

Forgetting of your promises, and how much that I am blessed

Letting anxiety, come in and take your place

As I overthink and my mind begins to race

Still, you remind me, that I can trust in your plan

That you have got it all worked out, this I understand

So, I will trust you, when doubt tries to make a way

I will put my confidence in you and I will pray

I will remember, that you God, are in control

As your peace calms my heart and keeps my hope full

For one thing is certain and I know this to be true

That I can place, my hope in you

Believing in your promises, that you have it all worked out

For you are dependable, so I know I need not doubt

Knowing you have great plans, I just need to wait and see

For you truly have, always been, faithful to me

I can rest with your peace and your joy, that you so freely give

For this is the way, you’ve allowed me to live
