Many talk to God when they want something. Though few talk to Him in gratitude. It is as though they only recognize His existence when there is a request to be made; but not acknowledging for the daily blessings He gives us. It is like having someone say they want a relationship with you, yet only coming around when it benefits them. Then when they feel they don’t need you anymore, not speaking to you. Does not sound like much of a relationship to me. Walking with God is not calling out to Him when we want our way. It is walking with Him every day, through it all. Seeking Him always, praying and thanking Him daily. Friend, if we are to love God, then we need to have a true relationship with Him. Not one that makes an occasional visit; but one that knows their need for God, expresses gratitude toward Him and lovingly walks with Him always.

Many say that they love God, but few live as though they truly do. May we live a life, where we genuinely walk with Him. For He longs for us to walk with Him, always. Not when it is convenient, but at every moment and always with genuine love. For He loves us more than we can fathom and He so wants us to truly love Him too. Friend, God is so faithful in His love, His grace and His kindness toward us. May we offer Him our gratitude, our praise, and our love. For the sweetest relationship we will ever have, is the one in which created it all.
