It is so easy to get caught up in life’s expectations; that we find ourselves wanting to do everything on our own. It is all too easy at times, to fall into self-sufficiency. So much so, that I put more hope in myself, than I do God. This only leads me to feeling stressed or overwhelmed. For I am not God, and trying to do it all, instead of trusting in Him, who holds it all; only leads to more unnecessary stress.
Friend, if you feel like you have a lot on your shoulders, please go to the one who can truly lift the weight. For we are not alone in the big, the small or the in-between. God is always there, waiting for us to go to Him. To put our hope and trust in Him. For it is only mediocre what a human can do; but with God, it is amazing what we can do.
For a heart that goes to Him who holds it, finds hope where hopelessness would be. Where weakness and defeat would be, strength and victory through Him, in its place. Where stress would be, peace. For we were not ever meant to do life alone, but keep God with us through all that life brings us. For the one whom created us, still lovingly cares for us.
