I was scrolling on Facebook and a friend posted a great quote. It stated that just because God says not yet, doesn’t mean that God is saying no. This resonated with me. Friend, I have felt discouragement when things do not happen on my timing, fearing that God is saying no. There was a time in my husband’s and I’s past when we wanted to buy a house. It was a beautiful home and we were so disappointed when it did not work out as we had hoped. We were reminded then, that God said no because he had something better in mind. Looking back, I am so grateful that we did not get that house. We had to wait some time after, but in His time, God gave us an even better home for our family. God was not telling us that we could not have a home of our own. He was having us wait, for the one that He wanted for us to have, in His time. Friend, if there is something you are hoping for and you are wondering if it will ever happen; do not lose hope! For His not yet, is simply that. Though no matter what God decides over the things that we hope for, He knows what is best and when it is best. Trust in Him my friend, He truly does have great plans for you! When our hearts trust in His plans, we can always plan on having exactly what is best for us!
